Water based cutting oil emulsions are widely used in cutting and grinding operations, particularly where enhanced cooling is needed. An emulsion is normally able to absorb more heat and thus cool the part and the tool without formation of excess smoke or oil mist. The actions of the emulsifying agents enable the oil and water components to mix together to form stable emulsions, which will not separate out into layers of oil and water.

Topaz Cutting Oils is supplied as neat soluble oil and is a complex product containing a wide variety of additives selected for specific purpose and blended in controlled proportions.

Topaz Cutting Oil is a moderate duty, general purpose, water soluble cutting oil for use on both ferrous and non-ferrous metal in a wide variety of machining operation, which includes grinding, milling, turning and drilling.
